    The Victim Assistance Program of the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney, established in 1990, provides the following services to crime victims: Help guide the victim through the criminal justice system when prosecution occurs. Accompany victims to court. Assist victims in filling out applications for Violent Crime Compensation. Notify victims of the status of their cases. Insure that victims can make their views known in decisions regarding bail, plea agreements, and sentencing. Refer victims to social service agencies when needed. Aggressively pursue restitution and assist with property return.
