The City-County Building is located at 501 East Court Avenue in Jeffersonville, and houses almost all the offices of Clark County Government and the City of Jeffersonville. The Office of the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney is located on the second floor in the west wing of the City-County Building. The Clark Circuit Court (Judge Donahue), the Clark Superior Court #1 (Judge Jacobi), the Clark Superior Court #2 (Judge Blau), and the Clark Superior Court #3 (Judge Fleece) are located on the second floor in the east wing of the City-County Building.
Attached to the City-County Building is the Clark County Law Enforcement Facility, which houses the Clark County Jail, the Clark County Sheriff, and the Clark County Police Department. The Jeffersonville Police Department is located on the first floor in the east wing of the City-County Building. The City-County Building and the Clark County Law Enforcement Facility take up a square block of real estate, bounded on the south by Court avenue, on the west by Watt Street, on the north by 7th Street, and on the east by Meigs avenue.
The three City and Town Courts in Clark County are located in the city or town represented. The Jeffersonville City Court (Judge Lindsey) is located on the second floor in the east wing of the City-County Building in Jeffersonville. The Charlestown City Court (Judge Waters) and the Charlestown Police Department are located at 701 Main Street in Charlestown. The Clarksville Town Court (Judge Weber) is located in the Town Municipal Building at 2000 Broadway in Clarksville. The Clarksville Police Department is located next door at 1970 Broadway.
TO CITY-COUNTY BUILDING FROM CHARLESTOWN / NEW WASHINGTON:
Travel south on Highway #62 (10th Street) into Jeffersonville; turn left onto Meigs Avenue near Quadrangle; go 3-4 blocks, City-County Building on right; parking on northeast, south, and west side of City-County Building.
TO CITY-COUNTY BUILDING FROM HAMBURG / SELLERSBURG:
Travel south on I-65 to Exit #1 Charlestown / Highway #62 (10th Street); go straight through stoplight, then 3 blocks on 10th Street; turn right onto Watt Street; go 3-4 blocks, City-County Building on left; parking on northeast, south, and west side of City-County Building.
TO CITY-COUNTY BUILDING FROM LOUISVILLE:
Travel north across Kennedy Bridge and take Exit #0 Court Avenue; at stoplight turn right onto Court Avenue; go 7-8 blocks, City-County Building on left; parking on northeast, south, and west side of City-County Building.
